Our weekly pool sessions are on Tuesday evenings at Ipswich High School, Woolverstone, Suffolk. IP9 1AZ arriving at 7.15pm, getting in the water for 7.30pm. Join us for a course, or to just get in the water and blow some bubbles, snorkel or even have a swim. Booking is necessary so make sure you contact us to reserve your place. For courses we need at least 1 weeks notice.

As a Basic Freediving Instructor, you will help others learn to freedive with the Snorkel Diver, Try Freediving, and Basic Freediver courses. Gain experience with this entry-level instructor rating.

Once you get comfortable teaching the basics of freediving, take the next step to advance your freediving instructor career. Get started today and join us for a weekend learning about how to each basic freediving.

The SSI Snorkel Diver program is your first step towards discovering a passion for the underwater world.

With a 90-minute session in confined water and under the guidance of an instructor, it is the best way to learn how to snorkel and develop your confidence in the water, so you can go snorkeling and explore the mesmerizing landscapes and wildlife of the aquatic world.

You do not need to be a proficient swimmer to participate in the Snorkel Diver program, and there is no minimum age to join. You just need to be comfortable in the water, able to maintain your buoyancy, and ready to begin the adventure of a lifetime! 

In this program, you will be introduced to the equipment and skills you need to go snorkeling safely and once completed you will have earned our Snorkel Diver recognition card as well as confidence to go snorkelling and enjoy the magical underwater world! With underwater features which include but not limited to:
